5 warning signs of cancer developing in the body

Persistent pain

Chronic pain that does not go away even after taking medication and getting enough rest.

If the pain worsens over time, you should see a doctor as it may be a sign of a more serious condition, such as bone cancer (bone pain or broken bones), brain tumors (which cause persistent headaches, nausea and blurred vision), ovarian or colon cancer (which causes pelvic or abdominal pain) or lung cancer (chest pain).

Unusual lumps or swelling

The appearance of  bumps  and growths on the skin is not uncommon. However, if the bumps become larger, red and painful, persist for more than two weeks, are hard and immobile, or occur on the breasts or hands, please consult your general practitioner.
