Can an emotion have a visible impact on the skin?

Laughter makes you feel better

Author of the book "Choose Your Genetic Destiny" (published by Fayard), Dr. Gilbert Deray advocates for incorporating laughter into the management of chronic illnesses and recommends that everyone laugh for at least ten minutes a day. We often fall far short of this... What are the benefits? Laughter reduces cortisol and inflammation, and increases the release of serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins.

It improves mood, stimulates joy and positive thinking. It also strengthens the immune system and protects the heart. So much so that the French Federation of Cardiology, for example, encourages the practice of laughter yoga, a discipline that combines the benefits of breathing with those of laughter.
