Fill a plastic bag halfway with vinegar.
Place the shower head inside the bag and secure it with a cable tie.
Let the shower head soak overnight.
The next morning, remove the bag and scrub the shower head with a toothbrush.
Finally, turn on the tap and let the water run for a few minutes.
Vinegar is one of the most effective ingredients for removing mineral deposits, the main cause of clogged shower head nozzles.
To clean a detachable shower head:
Remove it from its holder and rinse it under running water, but upside down (the holes should be facing the water jet).
Rinse until all surface residue, limescale, and dirt are removed.
Soak the shower head in a container filled with vinegar overnight.
The next day, scrub it with a toothbrush, then rinse as in step 1.
Now that you know how to unclog a leaking shower head, try this method immediately to restore satisfactory water pressure.
