Baking   soda  is one of the best home remedies for removing tartar from your teeth.
You'll need to prepare a mixture of two parts baking soda to one part salt, mixing it well with a little water.
Dip your toothbrush into the mixture and scrub it on the areas where tartar has accumulated.
