500g ground beef
, ½ cup diced onion, ½ cup
breadcrumbs
, ⅓ cup rolled oats
, 1 egg,
½ cup tomato sauce,
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce,
1 tsp garlic powder
, 1 tsp onion powder,
1 tsp salt,
½ tsp black pepper,
½ tsp mustard seeds,
½ cup ketchup (for the glaze).
Instructions:
Mix the ground beef with the onion, breadcrumbs, oats, egg, and spices. Stir in the tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Spoon the mixture into muffin tins and press down.
Top with ketchup.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25 minutes.
Three breakfast muffins. I bake them in the evening and pack them for the children in the morning as breakfast for school.
